On May and June, Surabaya succeed in the award-winning success Adipura Surabaya Kencana 2011 on 9 June 2011 and award of "ASEAN Environment Sustainable City" or city with the best sustainable environmental management at the ASEAN level. Award of Adipura is a reward from Indonesia government to the city in Indonesia, which succeeded in hygiene and urban environmental management. Award of Adipura has several category, which is Metropolitan City for the city where is the population is more than 1 million inhabitants, the next category is Big City for the city where is the population is between 500001-1000000 soul, the other category is Medium Cities for the city where is the population is between 100,001 to 500,000 inhabitants, and the last category is Small Town for the city where is the population is up to 100,000 inhabitants.


Surabaya succeed to reach some achievements during the months of May and June because Surabaya was supported by the Surabaya city government from all departments and citizens of the city of Surabaya. Surabaya Transportation Department also participated as a team with Surabaya city government to win award of the city of in the award-winning success Adipura Surabaya Kencana 2011 on 9 June 2011 and award of "ASEAN Environment Sustainable City" or city with the best sustainable environmental management at the ASEAN level. One is in addition to supporting the development of infrastructure services provided at the terminals in Surabaya as electric parking, CCTV at the entrance and exit terminals in the city of Surabaya, Surabaya Transportation Department also build beautiful gardens in terminal- terminal in Surabaya.[set]
